Virtual "Duck" Tour
The slideshow above takes you on a "Virtual Duck Tour." Thank you for coming aboard. You can purchase your tickets for the real "Duck" tour at the "Duck" boarding station at 418 Central Ave. in downtown Hot Springs. The station is across the street from Bathhouse Row, and only a few blocks south of the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa. This is where your journey begins. From here the "Duck" will head south on Central Avenue toward Lake Hamilton. You will pass many local shops and restaurants as you leave the downtown area and make your way toward the lake. As you enter Lake Hamilton, you will be amazed as the "Duck" you are riding transforms from a land vehicle to a floating tour boat. Your "Quacky Captain" will keep you in stitches with his humor, and may ask you to assist him in his duties. You will see the only home on Lake Hamilton that has a "double-boat garage" built right into the home. You will also see the historic Hamilton House Estate with a secret tunnel leading to the lake. Enjoy the many lake views of waterfront homes, cafes, marinas, and the beautiful shoreline before going back ashore. On the journey back downtown you will see Oaklawn Park, a major Hot Springs attraction. You can actually see the track from your elevated "Duck" perch. You can see the Old Hot Springs High School, attended by President Bill Clinton as you near downtown. Soon you will return to downtown Hot Springs where you can enjoy the many sights, shops and fine restaurants after your "Duck" tour. We also invite you to visit the Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum right down the street at 250 Central Avenue. We look forward to seeing you in person soon! |
